Sangat Sahib Bhai Pheru Sikh Educational Society Faridkot, a time tested School Management, decided to name the School 'Dasmesh after our 'tenth' spiritual Master, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji because Damesh 'the Yug Purush' of his time and the perfect role-model for any human in flesh and blood was embodiment of finest virtues a human ever possessed. The farsighted Management might have envisioned such a perfect human, the Dasmeshian, walking out of the portals of the School of their vision after completing his schooling to demonstrate to the world that one can righteous without being harsh, compassionate without being weak, religious without being bigoted, philosophic without being enigmatic, learned without being pedantic, valiant without being vindictive and athletic without being demonstrative. To realise this dream of theirs the management created a vast infrastructure with ambiances perfectly congenial for the development of such multi-faceted personality having a human heart that subscribes to the philosophy of "ਮਾਨੁਸ ਕੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਏਕੋ ਪਤਿਚਾਨਬੋ" enshrined in the School Motto.
