Established in 1973 Dasmesh Public School enjoys the distinction of being the first ever CBSE affiliated English Medium Senior School of the district of Faridkot as well as being one of the first dozen such schools established in the State of Punjab. It also has the proud distinction of enjoying the 'permanent' affiliation status enjoyed not even by a dozen schools in India.
